Every
pilot needs to have an overview pre-set to filter out all
friendly ships. This will prevent friendly fire incidents, of which far
too many have been occuring lately.
Go to your overview, and at the top there should be a little white triangle (or arrow), pointing to the right.
Click the triangle and select "overview settings."
Now, make sure all types of combat ships are checked in the "types" tab,
and make sure alliance, corporation, gang, good standing, and
high standing are all un-checked in the "states" tab. That should do it.
